The Caldwell House Second Annual Bridal Show

The Caldwell House Second Annual Bridal Show on Sunday, March 18, 2012, was a wonderful success!

Twenty-three vendors from all across Acadiana participated in the afternoon show which was well attended by brides, grooms, and their family and friends.  The event was also an Open House, and guests were invited to walk through the home to see what The Caldwell House, afull-service bed and breakfast, has to offer.

Wedding service vendors were scattered throughout all areas of the home -- upstairs, downstairs, on the front and side porches and under the pavilion. Some of the vendors were not particularly wedding-related, but were those who sold other products or services (weight loss products, scrapbooking consultants, etc.) and shoppers were able to get information about their companies, as well.

Throughout the afternoon, guests were scattered throughout the home, on the porches and under the pavilion, speaking to the vendors, sampling their products, and just enjoying a pleasant visit.

Marcello's Wine Market Cafe offered complimentary wine and soft drinks.

The Grand Prize was an all-inclusive Caribbean honeymoon in a Palace Resort, won by a local bride & groom.

The Caldwell House gave away an overnight stay in its Evangeline Master Suite.

Next year's bridal show will be on Sunday, March 17, 2013.   Mark your calendars and Save the Date!
