Ceremony Sites

Various sites in and around The Caldwell House are available for your wedding ceremony.  While the East Garden location with its tropical garden is the most popular site for the ceremony, the West Garden Pavilion also offers a unique and beautiful location surrounded by lush vegetation.  The East Garden can accommodate up to 200 guests, while the West Garden Pavilion can accommodate up to 100 guests, with more seating on the side porch, if desired.  Weddings of up to 50 guests can be held in either of these locations, as well as inside the home in the front and side halls, with the ceremony taking place at the base of the stairs.

In the case of last-minute inclement weather, the West Garden Pavilion can be used instead of the East Garden.  Curtains can be drawn around the pavilion for rainy conditions, heaters are available for cold weather, and fans provide a cool environment when needed.

Evening wedding in East Garden when it was almost dark. The bride and groom are spotlighted. Most of the weddings at The Caldwell take place at dusk or in the early evening, and soft, ample lighting highlights the bridal party and the vegetation, for a truly romantic setting.
